This Privacy Policy applies when you use our the Gemstones and Jewellery Community Platform (the Platform). We offer our users choices about the data we collect, use and share as described in this Privacy Policy.
Introduction
Our Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Platform (“Users”).
To access the Platform, Users register and provide data on: the company, the company representative. Users may also engage with their network, learn and develop skills, and find business opportunities.
Content and data is not viewable by non-Users.

Changes to the Privacy Policy apply to your use of the Platform after the “effective date.”
In case of material changes to the Privacy Policy, Users will be provided notice through the Platform, or by other means, to provide Users with the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. If the User objects to any changes, the User may close the account.
You acknowledge that your continued use of the Platform after changes to this Privacy Policy are published or notified means that the collection, use and sharing of your personal data is subject to the updated Privacy Policy, as of its effective date.
You provide data to create an account on the Platform.
To create an account you need to provide data including:
The name of the company;
The name of the company representative;
Email address and/or mobile number;
A password;
Additional information about the company structure and operations.
You have choices about the information on your profile, such as photo,and company logo and certifications. It’s your choice whether to include sensitive information on your profile and to make that sensitive information public. Please do not post or add personal data to your profile that you would not want to be publicly available.
You also provide data when choosing to assess and verify your performance through the Check & Verify sections of the Platform.
It’s your choice whether to share such information with your community network and to make such information public.
We log your visits and use of the Platform.
We log usage data when you visit or otherwise use the Platform, such as when you view or click on content (e.g., learning video), perform a search. We use log-ins,device informationand internet protocol (“IP”) addresses to identify you and log your use.
We receive data from your devices and networks, not including location data.
We also get information about your network and device (e.g., IP address, proxy server, operating system, web browser and add-ons, device identifier and features, cookie IDs and/or ISP, or your mobile carrier).
We are improving the Platform, which means we get new data and create new ways to use data.
The Platformis dynamic, and new features are often introduced, which may require the collection of new information. In case of material changes in data collection, use and sharing, you will be notified.
We use your data to provide, support, personalize and develop the Platform.
How we use your personal data will depend on which features of the Platform you use, how you use those features and the choices you make.
Our features help you connect with others, find and be found for work and business opportunities, stay informed, and get training.
We use your data to authorize access to the Platform and honor your settings.
Our features allow you to connect with other Users. You can choose to provide access to your profile.
Subject to your and other Users’ settings when you connect with other Users, you will be able to see their full or partial profile, pending their approval.
We use data about you to help others find your profile and enable you to invite others to become a User and connect with you.
It is your choice whether to send a connection request, or allow another User to become your connection. When you invite someone to connect with you, you agree to share your self-assessment data, if available. The Platform will send invitation reminders to the person you invited.
In all cases, other Users will not be able to see your connections.
We use data to help you and fix problems.
We use data to investigate, respond to and resolve complaints and for Platform issues (e.g., bugs).
We use data for security, fraud prevention and investigations.
We use your data for security purposes or to prevent or investigate possible fraud or other violations of the Terms and Condustionsand/or attempts to harm our Users.
Any data that you include on your profile and any content you complete will only be seen by others, consistently with your settings.
Your profile is visible to other Userssubject to yoursettings.
We may use others to help us with the Platform.
We use others to help us provide the Platform features (e.g., maintenance, analysis, and development). They will have access to your information as reasonably necessary to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.
It is possible that we will need to disclose information about you when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies; (2) enforce our agreements with you; (3) investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations; (4) protect the security or integrity of the Platform (such as by sharing with companies facing similar threats); or (5) exercise or protect the rights and safety of the Users.
We generally retain your data as long as you keep your account open or as needed to provide you services within the Platform.
You can access or delete your data. You have many choices about how your data is collected, used and shared.
We monitor for and try to prevent security breaches. You remain responsible for keeping your User ID and password confidential.
